Dress: J.Crew (unfortunately sold out, but love this one!) | Denim jacket: H&M | Scarf: similar here | Handbag: J.Crew, budget-friendly version here, love this one | Flats: MICHAEL Michael Kors Fulton Moccasins (absolute favorite/comfiest shoes AND they’re on sale)
Oh t-shirt dresses; from spring to summer–through fall, and back again, they can be quite the closet staple! I’ve layered button downs underneath, cardigans and denim jackets over, with and without a belt, tights, Keds (NEED this pair for me and matching pair for Lilly!) and high heels.
When I was pregnant with Lilly, t-shirt dresses were my jam! Since I never got very big with Lilly, I was able to wear my non-maternity dresses throughout most of my pregnancy. But the stretchy t-shirt dresses were what I reached for the most!
We snapped these photos back when I was 8 weeks pregnant, so I have definitely bumped out since these were taken. Not much of a bump back then :). Last week, though, when I put on one of my t-shirt dresses, I had to belt it so that I looked more pregnant and less like I had eaten one too many pints of Salted Caramel Truffle Ice Cream! 😀
Unfortunately, this particular striped dress is sold out, but I’ve rounded up some others (all non-maternity) that are either identical to what I own, or I’m seriously considering adding to my growing collection. Check them out below!
Must-Have Striped T-Shirt Dresses
Racerback Striped Dress— This racerback dress is technically not a t-shirt dress (sleeveless), but it’s made of the same material and looks like a great option for summer!
Striped Tie-Shoulder Dress— Another striped favorite from J.Crew, this one is on sale for $18.99!! I’ve already added it to my shopping cart. 🙂
Slub Knit Tee Dress— I actually own a couple styles of this dress (in both olive green stripes and bright blue stripes), and at under $20, they are by far the best bang for your buck!
Striped Pocket Tee— this dress from Madewell is almost identical to mine from J.Crew, if you’re looking for a very similar style. 🙂
Lilly Pulitzer Marlowe Dress— and because I am a huge Lilly P. fan, I had to include this adorable lobster and crab-print dress! Lilly Pulitzer’s jersey knit fabrics are uber comfy, and hold up really well to multiple wears and washes. It’s a little pricey, and $108, but it’s high-quality and will last!
If you all have any favorites you’d love to share, let me know! Currently looking to expand this part of my wardrobe. 🙂
Stay Classy!

Such a cute look Whit! I especially love the navy with the fun lemon scarf. I’ve actually been on the hunt for a denim jacket and never even thought to check H&M, I’ll have to go by!
I’m obsessed with your scarf!! And the dress is so cute!
OMG obsessed with that lemon scarf!! Actually just got a shirt in a similar print.
