WOW, where to begin, where to begin??
Next to my wedding, I had THE most amazing experience of my life this past weekend! I kid you not, so many dreams of mine came true, and it would not have been possible without Cottonelle (THANK YOU GUYS!!). I’m going to give you a VERY brief recap of my day at the races, because I am still coming down from Cloud 9 and trying to process everything that I experienced! I’ll share more details and funny stories later this week. 🙂
Ok, here’s the quick and derby (teehee)….
I had the pleasure of meeting and attending the Derby with three other fabulous bloggers, (from left to right) Lindsay, Erin, and Sarah, and I cannot tell you enough how much we enjoyed our day together! We were picked up by a driver that Cottonelle had arranged, and that set the tone for how the rest of our day went…. #viptreatmentherewecome
When we arrived, we were met by our Cottonelle rep for the day, and she gave us a quick tour to help us get our bearings (we ended up getting lost later, but it ended up being a VERY memorable story!). She showed us to the restrooms, and no sooner had we walked in did all four of us whip out our phones for, you guessed, selfies with the adorable blurb mirror decals. You can’t tell we’re bloggers….

We then headed to the Cottonelle Refresh room, where all the celebrities who were in attendance could come in to freshen up their hair and makeup, grab a mint julep or three, and then take a stroll down the red carpet! We became “bummies” with Cherry Healey, the sweet and rather cheeky spokeswoman for Cottonelle who isn’t afraid to talk bums…with anyone….yes, that’s Mary Wilson from the Surpremes, Carson Kressley from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, and Jamie Foxx scurrying past us with his daughter (#dying).
