Ladies, I need an intervention.
Blush pink.
I mean, it doesn’t help that it’s everywhere…
But there are so many other colors out there, and yet, blush is the first color I gravitate towards.
And to be honest, sometimes I feel like I’m following the same formula, over and over again–blush top + white denim + wedges, repeat.
(Slightly) Different blush top, probably white denim again, flats, repeat again.
Let’s face it, we ALL are probably suffering from a little blush-fatigue.
And yet, I can’t stop wearing it. It’s hopeless, I’ve tried. So the next thing I thought of was to add a bright, contrasting color in hopes of keeping my outfit from being not just another blush outfit. (I feel like that should be a hashtag!)
And since my tassel game is (also) strong, I thought of putting mint and blush together! (You can check a couple of other ways I styled blush and mint together here and here). Plus, it was fun to look back through old posts to get some inspiration..That’s actually why I began posting outfit pics on Instagram, in the first place!
Unfortunately this top is from a few years ago, but it still remains one of my closet staples. Target has a couple of similar tops (both are under $20!), so check them out!
These are probably my most favorite pair of earrings I own! I dug these babies out of my storage bags, for spring, and have been looking for any excuse to wear them. They are quite the statement, both in size, and the fact that they are tassel earrings. But despite the large size, they are super lightweight and don’t weigh down my earlobes.
And you know how I talked about needing comfortable shoes in my last post? Well, these lace-up sandals do NOT fit the bill–but they are blush pink, which of course I couldn’t resist, and every woman has to have a pair of statement heels!
I actually took a very long walk in these heels with M. and Lilly, over the weekend, and my feet were dying at the end of it. I’m so out of practice wearing tall heels!
I’ve got a LOT more blush pieces coming to the blog, over the next couple of weeks, because try as I might, I will probably always gravitate towards it. I mean, let’s face it, if I’ve been wearing this particular top over and over again for the last three years, chances are it’s because blush has always been my favorite.
And that’s not something to blush about.
Stay Classy!
