You all, this warm weather had better be sticking around for awhile, because I don’t know if I can handle anymore winter nonsense. I am more than ready to pack my coats away, and Saturday was the first day I went without! That evening, M and I were going to check out a new pizzeria called Pies & Pints with some friends, and I needed a date night look.
Most of my date night looks for the past few months have consisted of jeans-sweater-vest combo of some sort, and boots. every.single.time. I love jeans, and especially colored denim, but girlfriend needed a break! I wanted something that had a little more sass to it but still classy at the same time, so when I was catching up on one of my favorite blogs, I snagged some inspiration from Kelly! 🙂 I have been looking for an excuse to break out these shorts for over a month, and her post gave me the idea to pair them with tights and ankle booties, and when I found this polka dot top buried in my closet, it was a win-win.
So ladies, I have something awesome to share with you….A couple of months ago , a representative from Rocksbox contacted me about trying out their subscription for three months and sharing my thoughts with my readers. I was a little skeptical at first (my last subscription-type service experience with a different company was a total NIGHTMARE), so I waited to see what other bloggers thought. After stalking their Instagram page for two months, and seeing all the pretties that they posted on the daily, my curiosity got the better of me! I signed up for my subscription, filled out my style profile, and within a week my first box had shipped.
Here’s how it works: You take the style survey with questions about your preferences (gold vs. silver, what do you wear more necklaces or bracelets, etc.) and sign up with either your email or Facebook profile, and then fill out your jewelry wishlist (the fun part!). They have an array of designers from Kendra Scott, Loren Hope, Gorjana, House of Harlow, and other up-and-coming brands. Each month, a jewelry stylist will curate three pieces based on your style profile and preferences, and ship them to you on loan. You can keep them for as long as you like, and when you’re ready to send them back, another box of pretties is on its way! It’s basically Rent the Runway for jewelry, and for $19 a month, you can’t find a better service anywhere else! AND, if you like the pieces in your box, you can purchase one or all three for a special members-only price! And did I mention you get $10 each month to put towards the purchase of a piece? If you are not satisfied with your subscription, you can cancel at any time. No hassle, no waiting, no hoops to jump through, no waiting-for-6-months-and-leaving-6-voicemails-and-still-being-charged-each-month-crap (no joke, that really happened with my last experience!).
When my first box arrived, I was still a little skeptical before opening the box. My previous nail-polish subscription experience was a bit of a disaster, and I ended up throwing or giving away most of the bottles I received. When I opened my box and found one of the designers I had marked as my favorite in my profile, I was so excited at how well my stylist had done in putting together my box! I’ll be posting an official review of my Rocksbox pieces and the coupon code you can use to receive your first month for free.
Yes I did receive three months courtesy of Rocksbox, but this is my honest opinion and I couldn’t be more pleasantly surprised with their service! Stay tuned for more, and
Stay Classy!

Love your outfit!
Those shorts are so cute and you styled them so well for Spring. The dotted navy top is perfect with the mint sweater. Full of colors and patterns which I adore. You look cute as usual, Whitley.
Take Care, Ada. =)
