Happy Weekend, lovelies!
Yesterday I told you about the amazing opportunity I will have next month to attend LuckyFABB Conference in New York City! I still cannot believe that it’s really happening, I continually have to pinch myself! SO, as you can imagine, I have A LOT I need to do between now and then: I have outfits I need to pick out (where to begin???), flight ticket to purchase, get my hair cut, colored, and highlighted (all thanks to Groupon!!), AND make business cards. Oh, and did I mention plan a little sightseeing, as well?? Right now the plan is to leave on a Wednesday afternoon, and come back Saturday morning. It’s a pretty quick trip, as staying longer would mean a more expensive flight ticket, not to mention missing more work, but I will make the most with what I have (I mean, I’m going to New York freakin’ CITY!!). No matter how little time I have to sight-see, I will be a happy camper.
This weekend will be a busy one, for me, and because of starting my new part time job next week, I have to get on top of a new blogging schedule to keep up! Aaand did I mention I am also a big girl, and big girls have chores to do? Oh. Guess I won’t be relaxing much, this weekend!
To keep myself sane and comfortable with the bajillion errands I have to run, I decided to put together a cute but easy outfit for the weekend. This will probably be my go-to outfit for Casual Fridays at work, as it is fuss-free but still looks put together. The perfect way to accomplish this is by pairing a structured blazer with denim, and adding a scarf on top. You can wear heels or flats, depending on what your level of comfort is, and you have a polished but casual outfit for the day. I am all about looking put together, but if I can be comfortable at the same time, that is the cherry on top!

Ahhh love your outfit! I am on the search for a new blazer this fall! For the pictures- I think when you upload them in your google+ account it does that if you took the pictures within so many seconds of each other or something? Mine have done that a couple of times too!
I adore the color of that blazer – it's the perfect emerald shade!
