Plaid and ponchos.
Ponchos and plaid.
Alright, alright, before I get carried away with the plaid ponchos, let’s stick with today’s poncho paired with a plaid button down. Definitely my most-worn plaid shirt (here is this year’s version), I can’t stop wearing with anything and everything! 😀
I wish I could say that I’ve been wearing layers a lot, lately, buuut Fall seems to not be on board with it being October. I’m hoping it will cool down in time for my and Lilly’s birthday week next week (*cue tears*), but if not, I will probably wear layers, anyway.
And more ponchos. Always. Ponchos.
As in, I have another poncho look coming atcha later this week, and a blanket scarf/wrap look for the beginning of next!
Besides pairing plaid with this poncho, I have a trend I’m really loving for fall: red and green paired together. I use to think that red and green could only be worn together during the holiday season, but recently I’ve discovered that they can be worn together without looking like a Christmas tree!
I first paired the two colors together with my burgundy handbag and olive field jacket, and then with layers like the plaid shirt and jacket I linked above!
I’m excited to continue experimenting with this color combination this season, and I’d love to know what you think of pairing red with green! What shades do you like to wear together?
Stay Classy!
