TODAY’S THE DAY! TODAY’S THE DAY!!!
Y’all, I cannot believe that we finally get to find out if we’re having another girl or boy! M. is hoping for another girl (he loves being a father to Lilly!), and I have to admit, another girl would be easy ;). Either way, finding out will really make it seem real–we will actually have another precious baby in our house in a few short months!!
I remember when we found out with Lilly, that we were having a girl…I was 16 weeks along, and secretly, I had been hoping for a boy. But oh, being the mother of a little girl who is silly, sweet, and spunky is something I could not have even fathomed! I guess it’s still hard for me to imagine loving another tiny human as much as I love her, so maybe by having another girl, it would be a bit easier imagine.
Either way, I know that somehow my heart will grow in size to make room for two. <3 I can’t wait to share with you all what we are having!!
I had mentioned in Friday’s post that I was kicking around the idea of having a gender reveal party this Saturday, but decided not to. Hubby is too excited to find out today, and doesn’t want to wait. 😉
Red Stripes & Anchor Print Scarf
I wore this outfit for Memorial Day Weekend, and it’s a comfy one! I am always in the mood for stripes, and this red striped t-shirt has been a favorite over the years. (I want to pair it with a white skirt, but have yet to find one that’s bump-friendly! Any suggestions??)
The anchor print scarf was a gift from my mother-in-law from a few years back, but I have seen quite a few nearly-identical scarves pop up on Etsy! It’s been awhile since I’ve put together a nautical-inspired outfit, and to be honest, it’s because I got rather burnt out from a couple year back when the nautical look was SUPER trendy! It’s always a look that will be in style (one of those classic preppy trends), but for a couple of years, everyone had hopped aboard the nauti-ship (sea what I did there? Ok, I’ll stop..), and pretty soon, anchors were plastered on everything!
I guess when some people enjoy a trend, that’s fine, but when the masses get caught up in the hysteria, it looses its appeal. I know, so very hipster of me. 😉

I’m cutting today’s post a little short, so much to do and so little time–I currently am juggling laundry, cleaning out Lilly’s room, and trying to finally list some things on Poshmark. Aaand I’ve got a sweet spunky toddler running around, so I’m off! 😉
Stay Classy!
