Happy Tuesday, lovelies!
Ok, ok, I am a more than just a little excited that we had snow, a couple weeks ago. Winter is pretty blah, unless it snows, and here in the Bluegrass, we don’t really see much! Sure, we might get a good snowfall once a year, but it usually doesn’t last for long AND the rest of the season is grey and rainy. 😛 (As I’m typing this, we are currently experiencing the Polar Vortex…and more snow!!)
So, when it did snow two weeks ago, and being the faithful blogger that I am–I bundled my family up to take snap some outfit pics :D. Because if you don’t ask your Insta-hubby to document it, it never happened, right?? And because it was SUPER cold outside and I have two kids, M. was a boss photographer and shot these photos in less than 5 minutes! I took a page from this model’s book to get it done. 😀 <–the bag kick at :40 is LEGIT!!, So maybe I wasn’t quite that speedy, but you get the idea.
Don’t worry, I won’t be running out anytime soon to take more snow photos–Polar Vortex put the kabosh on that!
Snowflake Nordic Sweater Dress
Sweater dresses are the bomb dot com, and y’all know that fair isle/nordic knits have a special place in my heart….and when the two come together, I just can’t say no! I bought this grey fair isle dress, last year, and wore it quite a bit (it’s pretty soft, and thick). So when A&F came out with this cobalt blue nordic knit, I was super excited. 😀
One of the great things about sweater dresses is the versatility; three out of the four seasons; layered or by itself; tights/leggings or bare; boots, booties, pumps, flats; lots and lots of options.
How about you, are you a fan of sweater dresses? How do you wear them in the winter?
Stay Classy!
