Striped Bow Tunic + Cognac Peep Toe Booties

Oh, stripes, I can’t get enough of you! I mean, have you seen my Instagram feed, lately?? I would say that stripes are currently having a moment, in my wardrobe, but let me be honest–when are they not?

They are, without a doubt, the easiest pattern with which to pattern mix, and instantly transform a plain ol’ blue shirt into something interesting.

(Ok, gingham does that, too, but I promise to pay homage to gingham in another post!)

Anywho, what really drew me to this blouse was the bow tie! If you’ve been around for awhile, you know I have a special place in my heart for bows. I tie my scarves in bows, I like bow prints, bow necklaces…you get the idea.

When I was trying this blouse on in the store, my normal size (I normally wear an XS) was a bit boxy in the shoulders and torso, so I ended up going down one size for a better fit.

I probably sound like a broken record, but blue and white is one of my go-to color combos! If you looked inside my closet, you’d find that the blue section makes up about half of my wardrobe.

So while we are (attempting) to transition into Spring, you’ll be seeing a lot of blue and white on my Instagram feed!
